みなさんは孵化したばかりの雛の写真をご覧になったことがあると思います。
卵から出た雛はびっくりするほど大きな口を開けて、えさを待っています。
私はその様子を見ると、いつも詩篇81:10を思い出します:
「あなたの口を大きく開けよ。わたしがそれを満たそう。」
雛に負けないようにみとこばに「心の口」を大きく開け、主の愛とことばに養われて成長して行きましょう！
聖書をあまり読まないと、難しくて閉じられた世界のように感じますが、読めば読むほど起こされる飢え渇きが満たされます。
「口」を大きく開けたら、必ず満たされます。

I believe we all have seen pictures of newly hatched baby birds.
Having just emerged from the eggs, they open up their surprisingly big mouths waiting to be fed.
Every time I see this I get reminded of Psalm 81:10:
“Open wide your mouth and I will fill it.”
Let’s not be outdone by the birds, but open “the mouths” of our hearts widely to the Word so we can grow, nourished by the love of the Lord and his Word.
If we don’t read the Bible much it will seem like a difficult and closed world to us, but the more we read it the more our hunger will be satisfied.
Open your “mouth” wide and you will be satisfied!
