そうではありません。
ヨハネが壁のない心でイエス様を迎え、ついて行くうちに、友としてまたしもべとしてそう感じ、愛の証人となったのです。
あなたも「イエスが愛しておられる者」であることを知っていますか？
自分の思いや感情に頼らないで、まず、心の飢え渇きをもってイエス様に近づくなら、「イエスが愛された者」として愛の器に変えられていきます。

Was he more loved than the other disciples?
Of course not!
John received Jesus with an open heart and as he followed him, he felt so both as a friend and as a servant.
He became the messenger of love.
Do you know that you also are the disciple whom Jesus loves?
Rather than relying on your thoughts or feelings, just draw near to Jesus with a thirsty heart and as the disciple whom Jesus loves, you too will be changed into a vessel of love.
