今年の夏はいつもと違う気がします。
大雨の長い梅雨が終わったら、大変暑くなりました。
野菜や果物が高くなり、教会のブルーベリーの木も元気がありません。
コロナの影響で夏休みの遊びや旅も減ったでしょう。
今は一休みして、自分の生き方と目的を祈る時です。
私達には水道水やエアコンなどが与えられている恵みを感謝しましょう！
絶望的な状況の中にあったハバククと一緒に告白しましょう。
「しかし、私は主にあって喜び勇み、私の救いの神にあって喜ぼう。」
主の恵みは大きいです。

This summer seems somewhat different.
After a long rainy season with heavy rainfalls it has become very hot.
Vegetables and fruit are expensive and the blueberry bushes at the church parking lot are in a bad shape.
Because of the Corona fewer people go out to have fun or travel during this summer break.
Now is the time to take a little rest and reflect and pray about our lifestyle and purpose.
Let’s be thankful for having running water, air conditioners and other things!
Let’s confess with Habakkuk who was in a hopeless situation:
“yet will I rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.”
God’s grace is great!
