2021年12月19日　クリスマスの贈り物

クリスマスの贈り物のしるしは、飼葉桶に寝ておられる赤ちゃんです。
これを聞いて救い主を拝みに出かけた羊飼いたちは、この意味をよく理解していました。
彼らは仕事として、エルサレムの神殿で罪の赦しの贖いとして捧げられる子羊を育てていました。
生まれたばかりの完璧な子羊に傷やしみがつかないよう、いつも布にくるんで飼葉桶に寝かせていたのです。
羊飼いたちはイエス様を拝み、救い主として自分の心の「飼葉桶」に受け入れました。
帰る途中、嬉しさの余り、この素晴らしいニュースを出会った人々すべてに伝えたのです。

The sign of The Christmas Gift is a baby, wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.
The shepherds who hurried away to worship the newborn Savior could well understand the meaning of this.
Their job was to care for the lambs that were to be sacrificed at the temple in Jerusalem as atonement for everyone’s sins.
The shepherds took the newborn lambs, wrapped them in cloth and put them in a manger so they would be without spot or blemish.
The shepherds worshipped Jesus and received Him as their Savior in the “manger” of their hearts.
Overjoyed, they told the good news to everyone they met on their way back.
