2022年6月19日　神と新型コロナウィルス-5

最近次のような話を聞きました。
神様がある方に聞かれました。
「あなたは聖霊を受け入れましたか？」
その方は
「はい、洗礼を受けた時に父と子と聖霊を受け入れました（神学的に正しい答えです）」
と答えました。
神様はもう一つの質問をされました。
「一年前からあなたと一緒に住むようになったお姑さんを心から受け入れていますか？」
その方は
「主よ、あわれんで下さい！聖霊で満たして下さい！」
と答えました。
主を本当に愛しているか、また聖霊に満たされているかは、「兄弟」を愛しているかどうかによって分かるのです。
「主よ、赦して下さい！聖めて下さい！愛の聖霊で満たして下さい！アーメン」

I lately heard the following story:
God asked a man, “Have you received the Holy Spirit?”
“Lord”, he answered,
“when I was baptized I received the Father, Son and Holy Spirit” (a theological answer).
God asked him another question,
“Have you received your mother- in-law, who came to live with you a year ago, from all your heart?”
The man answered,
“Lord, have mercy on me! Fill me with your Holy Spirit!”
We can know if we love God and are filled with his Spirit by our love to our “brothers”.
“Lord, forgive me! Cleanse me! Fill me with the Holy Spirit of love!”
