今の世の中は狂っているように見えます。
悪が増大している中で奴隷売買（誘拐を含む）が行われ、飢饉が増え、迫害と殉教の数がこれまでの歴史の中で最も多くなっています。
それと同時に、クリスチャンの人数も過去最大となっています。
生きることに対して空しさを感じている人々は、キリストを迎えることによって人生に希望と目的が与えられます。
最近のニュースで、世界の何ヶ所かで300-500人規模の洗礼式を海の中で行っているのを見ました。
今日行われます洗礼式を通して、Hさんを鷹岡チャペルの新しいメンバーとして迎えられることを感謝します。

Now the world seems to have gone mad.
As evil is increasing there has never been so much slavery (kidnapping included), famine, persecution or martyrdom in the world before.
At the same time the number of Christians is increasing more than ever before.
As people experience emptiness in their lives, many turn to Christ and get hope and purpose in their lives.
In the news I’ve lately seen 300-500 people being baptized in the ocean at some places in the world.
Through baptism we today are happy to receive M.H. as a new member in Takaoka Chapel.
