2022年8月14日　祈りが答えられるには

「主を待ち望みなさい!」とはどんな意味でしょうか?
私たちが主に願い事を伝え、主がそれを承諾してくださると、
私たちは「主よ。今すぐそれをかなえてください!」と願いがちです。
しかし主が、「待ちなさい」と応答される時もあるのです。
こういう時にこそ、信仰と希望を失わないで「主を待ち望む」ことが必要です。
主の時刻表は私たちのものとは違いますし、すべての解決を御手に持っておられるのは主です。
ですから後になって振り返ってみると、主がもうすでにそれを成し遂げてくださっていたことに気付かされるのです。

“Wait on the Lord!”
What does it mean?
When we bring our requests to the Lord and he says, “Yes!”
we say, “Please Lord! Now! At once!”
To this the Lord often answers, “Wait!”
At such times, let’s continue to wait on him so we don’t lose our faith and hope.
The Lord’s timetable is different from ours.
He has all solutions in his hands.
As we later turn back we will see that he has already worked everything through.
