受難週:枝の日。
その日イエス様がロバに乗ってエルサレムに入られた時、群衆は手に木の枝をもって、イエス様を王としてメツシヤとして迎え
「ホザナ。ダビデの子。祝福あれ」
と大声でほめ讃えました。
その日最も大切な役割を果たしたのは、だれにも気付かれずにイエス様をお乗せしたロバではないでしょうか？
私達にも与えられている素晴らしい役割が二つあります。
一つはイエス様を絶えず主として、王としてほめ讃えることです。
もう一つは、あのロバのようにイエス様を人々のもとに運ぶことです。
今週は、毎日十字架の救いを覚え、イエス様に感謝を捧げましょう！

Holy Week: Palm Sunday.
On the the day when Jesus entered Jerusalem riding on a donkey, the crowd met him with branches in their hands praising him with loud voices as King and the Messiah:
“Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes…”
But did anyone notice the one who had the most important task: the donkey that carried Jesus?
We are given two wonderful tasks to perform.
One is to always praise Jesus as our Lord and King.
The other is to do as that donkey: to “carry” Jesus to people around us.
