何年も前に非常に悪いことをされた女の方が、友人にそのことを聞かれた時、彼女は何の反応も示しませんでした。
「覚えていないのですか？」と聞かれると、
「そのことは覚えていませんが、そのことを忘れてしまったことははっきりと覚えています」と答えたのです。
素晴らしい！
イエス様があなたの罪をお赦しになると、それを忘れて下さいます。
同じようにあなたも自分にされた悪いことを心から赦すなら、それを忘れてしまいます。
もう無いのです。

A woman was by her friend reminded of an especially cruel thing that had been done to her years ago.
She didn’t seem to recall it.
“Don’t you remember it?”, she was asked.
“No, I don’t. But I distinctly remember forgetting it”, she answered.
Isn’t that wonderful!
When Jesus forgives your sins, He doesn’t remember them any more.
In the same way as you from your heart forgive cruel things done to you, you will also forget them.
They are no more.
