今日は全聖徒の日で、岩本山で墓地礼拝を行います。
墓地礼拝とは、死人を覚えて彼らのために祈るものではありません。
よみがえられたキリストを礼拝し、先に「生ける者の国」に移られた方々を偲び、その救いを感謝する時です。
「聖徒」になるのは死を通してではなく、イエス・キリストに罪を赦していただくことによって、永遠の命に預かって神の子供とされるのです。
この恵みは大きいです。

Yesterday was All Saints’ Day and today we have a service at the cemetery in Iwamoto.
This service is not to remember the dead or to pray for them, but a time to worship Christ and thank him for the memory and salvation of those who have moved ahead of us to the “Land of the Living”.
We don’t become “saints ” by dying, but by receiving forgiveness of our sins through Jesus Christ and as the children of God we are partakers of eternal life.
