「あなたがたに言います。 それと同じように、一人の罪人が悔い改めるなら、悔い改める必要のない九十五人の正しい人のためよりも、大きな喜びが天にあるのです。」
受難節第1主日。 3月5日の 「灰の水曜日」から受難節に入りました。 灰は、旧約聖書では悲しみと悔い改めの象徴です。 キリストの苦しみを覚えながら、生活の中で私たちがキリストを喜ばないことがないでしょうか、とイエス様に尋ねる時でもあります。 また今は、主との時間を優先する特別な時期であって、 そのために止 (や)めなければならないこともたくさんあるでしょう。 悔い改めの結果は、 途方も無い自由と喜びです。 「シオンの嘆き悲しむ者たちに、 灰の代わりに頭の飾りを、 嘆きの代わりに喜びの油を、憂いの心の代わりに賛美の外套を着(つ) けさせるために。」 K. デルミン
The 1st Sunday in Lent. From “Ash Wednesday ” on March 5th we entered the season of Lent. In the Old Testament ashes was a symbol of sorrow and repentance. As we remember the sufferings of Christ it is also a time to ask Jesus if there is anything in our lives that doesn’t please him. It’s also a time to give up some things to prioritize time with the Lord. The result of repentance is a tremendous freedom and joy. Jesus says he was sent to “provide for those who grieve in Zion-to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.” Kerstin Dellming
