「イエス様が死なれたのは私たちに平安を与えるためではなく、
私たちを神様と和解させるためでした。
私たちは、神様と和解した者として平安を受けます。
イエス様が死なれたのは私たちが楽になり幸せになるためではなく、私たちを赦すためでした。
私たちは、赦された者として幸せになり、平安に満たされます。
イエス様と結び繋がっているからです。」
主の平安と喜びが一人ひとりにありますように。

I recently read the following:
“Jesus didn’t die to give us peace;
he died to reconcile us to God.
Once reconciled to God we are at peace.
Jesus didn’t die to make it easy for us or to make us happy.
He died that we might be forgiven.
Once forgiven we feel good and at peace.”
It’s the result of our relationship with the Lord.
