2022年9月4日　整えの時

ようやく少し涼しくなり、夜眠りやすくなりました。
今年も、夏の暑さと湿気を乗り越えることができ、主に感謝しています。
夏の暑さでエネルギーを使い果たしたある日、
「主よ。私は今日疲れ果ていますので、あなたを賛美し礼拝する余裕がありません。
　ですから少しだけ話をしたいですが・・・」
と言うと、聖霊様は、
「今こそ主をあがめ、ほめたたえる時ではないか？
　さあ、一緒に賛美しよう！」
と答えて下さいました。
手を上げて賛美し始めると、聖霊の涼しい風によって、砂漠の中にオアシスを見つけたように心が生き返り、喜びの泉が湧き出て来ました。

It’s finally getting cooler and easier to sleep at night.
I’m so thankful to the Lord for having been able to overcome the heat and humidity during this year’s summer too.
One day during summer when my energy was at it’s lowest I said,
“Lord, I’m so tired today and I have no strength to sing and worship.
Can we just talk a little?”
The Holy Spirit answered,
“Now is the time to worship and praise the Lord.
Let’s do it together!”
As I rose my hands in worship, my heart was refreshed by the cool breeze of the Holy Spirit, just as when you find an oasis in the desert and a spring of joy welled up within me.
