今日から新しい教会年が始まり、「アドベント(降臨節)」に入ります。
アドベントは主を待ち望み、心を整える時です。
世界中の人々はCovid-19を恐れ、回復を望んでいるでしよう。
しかし、人間に本当に必要なもの、探し求めているものは、イエス・キリストに出会う時に初めて得られます。
不思議なことですが、私達が自分の無力を知れば知るほど、キリストを迎えるために心の戸を開くのです。
キリストを救い主として、また主や王として迎えるために、心の戸を大きく開きましょう！
そして、周りの人々にも心を開き、キリストの御許(みもと)に誘いましょう！

Today is the first Sunday of the Church Calender and we’ve entered Advent.
During Advent we wait on the Lord and prepare our hearts.
The whole world is in fear of Covid-19 and hopes for recovery and restoration.
But man’s deepest needs can only be met by Jesus Christ.
It’s strange, but the more we get to know how powerless we are, the more we open up our hearts to Jesus.
Let’s open up the door of our hearts wider and higher to receive Jesus as our Savior and Lord and to invite people around us to come to him.
