マタイの福音書 21:9
「群衆は、イエスの前を行く者たちも後に続く者たちも、こう言って叫んだ。 『ホサナ、 ダビデの子に。 祝福あれ、 主の御名によって来られる方に。 ホサナ、いと高き所に』
受難節、枝の日。この日は十字架に向かうイエス様がろばに乗ってエルサレムにお入りになった日です。 弟子たちをはじめ、 子供達と群衆は木の枝を手に持ち、 喜びに溢れて「ホセナ、ダビデの子に。 祝福あれ、 主の御名によって来られる方に」と叫びながらイエス様をメシヤとして迎えました。 しかし、それを聞いた律法学者は嬉しくなかったのです。彼らは嫉妬深いだけでなく、 律法主義で、宗教的でした。 彼らは自発的なものが嫌いでした。 私たちはイエス様に愛と感情を示すことを恐れないで、「ホサナ!」と「ハレルヤ!」でイエス様をお迎えしましょう! K.デルミン
Lent, Palm Sunday. This is the day when Jesus on his way to the cross entered Jerusalem riding on a donkey. His disciples, the children and the crowd joyfully celebrated him as the Messiah. With tree branches in their hands they shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” When the scribes heard this they weren’t happy.
