今日は全聖徒の日です。
朝の墓地礼拝では、地上での走るべき道を走り終え、先に天国に行った聖徒たちを覚えて感謝を捧げます。
彼らの体は復活の朝まで墓の中で眠っていても、実際には生きています。
「わたしは、アブラハムの神、イサクの神、ヤコブの神である。
神は死んだ者の神ではありません。生きている者の神です。」
ずっと前に死んだイスラエルの先祖たちは今も生きているという意味です。
あなたも、イエス・キリストを救い主として受け入れた時から「聖徒」と呼ばれます。
キリストの血潮によって罪が赦され、「死からいのちに移ったのです」。
死は勝利に飲まれました。ハレルヤ！

Today is All Saints’ Day.
In the morning service at the cemetery we give thanks and remember those who have finished their earthly race and are in heaven.
Their bodies will rest in the grave till Resurrection Morning, but they are still alive.
“I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
He is not the God of the dead but of the living.”
This means that the ancestors of Israel who died a long time ago are still alive today.
Since you received Jesus Christ as your Savior, you too are called a “saint”.
Through the blood of Christ your sins are forgiven and you have crossed over from death to life.
Death has been swallowed up in victory.
