2023年3月26日　あなたの祈りは聞かれる？

受難週第五主日。
最後の晩餐の時に弟子たちは、我々の中でだれが一番偉いだろうかと議論を始めました。
これに対してイエス様は、「最も偉い人」とはどんな人なのか、その模範を私たちにも示してくださいました。
弟子たちの前で身をかがめ、イエス様が彼らの足を洗ってくださったのです。
イエス様は私たちを救うためにしもべとして仕える者の姿を取り、十字架の死にまで従われました。
私たちもイエス様を見習って、喜びをもって主に仕え、互いに仕え合いましょう！

5th Sunday in Lent.
During the Last Supper the disciples started to argue amongst them as to which of them was considered to be the greatest.
Concerning this, Jesus set them an example by kneeling down before them washing their feet.
To save us, Jesus took the very nature of a servant and became obedient even to death on a cross.
Let’s learn from him as we serve our Lord and one another with joy.
