受難節第4主日。
イエス様は驢馬に乗ってエルサレムにお入りになる前の日、ベタニアにおられました。
その時ひとりの女が、純粋で非常に高価なナルド油の入った石膏のつぼを持って来て、それを割ってイエス様の頭に注ぎました。
「もったいない！」とまわりから声が聞こえてきましたが、イエス様はそう思われませんでした。
私達はイエス様のためにいろいろな奉仕や働きをしますが、イエス様が一番欲しておられるのは、私達からの「ナルド油」でしょう！
状況が良くなくても、元気がなくても、「賛美のいけにえ」のつぼを割って、イエス様に注ぎましょう！
素晴らしい香りが出ます。

The 4th Sunday of Lent.
The day before Jesus entered Jerusalem riding on a donkey, he was in Bethany.
Then a woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive nard, broke it and poured the perfume over him.
“What a waste!”, some people said , but Jesus didn’t think so.
We do all kinds of work for Jesus, but most of all he wants us to offer him our “nardperfume”.
Even if our circumstances aren’t good and we don’t feel so well, let’s break our jar of “the sacrifice of praise” and pour over Jesus!
The result will be a wonderful fragrance!
